Laura Stoddart

Laura Stoddart is an award-winning illustrator known for her particularly distinctive style of water-colour painting. After working with companies such as Crabtree and Evelyn, Kate Spade, Gardens Illustrated and Portmeirion for over twenty five years, she decided to go out on her own in 2016, putting her delightful illustrations onto a growing collection of products from tea towels and prints to greetings cards and notebooks.

Laura Stoddart was born in Liverpool in 1971. She grew up in rural Cheshire and always wanted to be an illustrator. After studying at Brighton University and the Royal College of Art she began her career with a commission from the Royal Mail for the 1996 Christmas stamps, the youngest professional artist ever to have designed a set of stamps.
