Vita and Harold in their Sissinghurst Garden by Amanda White
An elderly Vita Sackville-West, husband Harold Nicholson and their dogs stand proudly before the Tudor tower of their home, Sissinghurst Castle in Kent. Vita, a member of the Bloomsbury Group, had her writing room on the first floor of the tower. She and Harold were responsible for designing and planting the beautiful Sissinghurst garden in the 1930s which is now among the most famous and most visited in Great Britain.
