Eric Gaskell (born 1957, Wigan) studied painting and printmaking at Wigan College and Sunderland College of Art. After graduating, he received painting scholarships to New York and Istanbul and won the Sunderland Fine Art Prize. Active in the creative industry since the early 1980s, he has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad. Gaskell is an Associate of the RBSA and a member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art and the Printmakers Council.
