Jill Leman was born in the USA, but has lived in England all her life. Spent two years at Colchester Art School, where John Nash and Edward Bawden were tutors, followed by The Central School of Art & Design in London. Her flower still-lifes, with their decorative vases, fabrics and familiar junk shop finds, have a pristine freshness and subtle vibrancy rare in modern British Art. She is an associate member of The Royal Watercolour Society.
