Tamsin Abbott

Tamsin Abbott is a stained glass illustrator who's work is rooted in the British countryside. She is not only inspired by the landscape's beauty and drama but also the invisible tapestry of myth and magic which is interwoven with its flora and fauna. Tamsin aims to imbue all her work with a sense of this magic, to do justice both to the subject matter and to the glass itself; a material with alchemical qualities and a mystery of its own. Most of Tamsin's artwork is painted onto English mouthblown glass and fired to give a strong woodcut-like image against the luscious colours of the glass. Over the past twenty years Tamsin has built up an ever expanding following of international collectors.
