Simon trained at Hereford College of Art before graduating from Maidstone College of Art. He is also an established designer of gardens and landscapes including his own at Bryan's Ground near Presteigne. He has staged one-man exhibitions in London, New York, Zurich, and throughout the UK including regular shows at Glyndebourne Opera. Simon is a member of The Arborealists and art editor of the garden journal, Hortus.
