William Greengrass is associated with the Grosvenor School students who include Lill Tschudi, Sybil Andrews and Cyril Power. Greengrass focused on the recurring patterns that appear in nature, and the impact these have on the eye. An original interpretation of the cubism that had begun to filter through to Britain in the 1920s can be seen in his work.
