Charlotte is a contemporary artist and writer, based in Stirlingshire. Her work is deeply rooted in the natural world, drawing inspiration from the rich flora and fauna of the British countryside, the rugged beauty of Scottish landscapes, and the inherent wisdom found in the 'peace of wild things’.

Charlotte works with oils, drawn to their versatile and textural qualities. Embracing the alla prima technique (‘at first attempt’ ), she tends to complete most of her pieces in a single session, aiming to capture the joy and freshness of passing moments in nature.

With each of her paintings,she creates illustrated thoughts from the animal’s perspective, inspiring contemplation on some big ideas. You can see some of these with her'When Beasts Spoke' range. With gentle and evocative short stories, she hopes to invite viewers to embark on a journey of mindfulness and gratitude, through observations on the little things in life, and the joys of nature.<p>
