An Excellent Merlot by Tom Homewood

Tom Homewood’s art is instantly recognisable. He is a traditional painter and works predominantly in oils. His distinguishing skill is his ability to capture the essence of a subject using very few marks. As the painter and art critic Julian Bell put it, “Tom has an extraordinary gift for making a line sing.”

Tom has exhibited extensively and his work can be found in private collections all over the world. He has been represented by the Northcote Gallery in Chelsea since 2006 and has recently exhibited at the Royal College of Art and the Saatchi Gallery. Tom was also selected to exhibit at Glyndebourne for their 80th Anniversary.
