Bloomin' Roast Greeting Card By Lucy Almey Bird

Born in 1973 Lucy grew up in the Somerset countryside. From an early age she was encouraged to draw and paint as her parents are both creative people. Her interest was kept alive with regular trips to the major galleries in London. Painting took a back seat while her children were younger but now she has more time to paint. Completely self taught Lucy paints mostly in acrylic on canvas taking inspiration from everyday life. She particularly enjoys painting whimsical pictures of ladies in domestic scenes. Humour is a thread running through most of her pictures. Lucy hopes to bring a sense of joy and a smile to peoples faces.
