Garden Party By Marcelle Milo-Gray

Oils & egg tempera on gesso panel Marcelle studied at the University of Essex and Exeter School of Art & Design. Her work is inspired by early Renaissance Artists, whose reverential attention to detail celebrates the natural world. Like those early painters, she works in egg tempera and gold leaf on carefully prepared panels. Subjects are found in the joy of fleeting encounters with wildlife, the beauty of trees and plants, plus afternoon tea with friends in beautiful gardens. Marcelle lives and works in the beautiful Devon countryside.
