Mallard Rising by Rosi Robinson

Batik on cotton fabric with wax & dyes Rosi graduated from Vassar College, New York with a degree in history but it was art in general and batik in particular, which captured her imagination. Her full time teaching career saw her Head of Art at Cumnor House School in West Sussex, where she lives. On retirement, Rosi has built an international reputation exhibiting and teaching the technique of batik around the world. Her work is influenced by water, land and seascapes, flora & fauna and sporting scenes.
