Narcissi, Spring Morning by Sarah Bowman

Sarah trained at Falmouth Art College. Since graduating she has shown regularly at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and has won the Mary Fedden award at the Royal West of England Academy. She is represented by White Space Art in Totnes, where she has regular solo exhibitions, as well as exhibiting in various group shows and Art Fairs around the country.

Sarah is hugely influenced by regular trips to Tuscany, and Renaissance fresco paintings. The primitive unscathed images in the frescoes are of particular interest, and their dry scumbly texture. The Still lives exhibited in this show are a new departure.
