Raindrops on roses by Michelle Hawes

Medium: Oils Born in Essex, Michelle Hawes studied at Southend College of Art obtaining a degree in Fashion Design. After a successful career in Buying Women’s Apparel she now concentrates on her artwork, painting with oils. Michelle loves to work “en plain air” allowing the atmosphere, temperature and colour of the landscape though her work. She has an affection towards animals and captures their personalities with paint. Michelle is a member of Barnes Artists, SOFA and exhibits regularly within SW London.
