Sam Cannon Artist Statement I wanted to do these cards that got straight to the point because more and more you hear how people are going through really tough times. I am trying to remember when it was in my life that I wasn't aware of all this stuff. Is it because you see it on social media. Or you just get older. Or you listen more than you talk. I don't know. But I do know that when someone puts their arms around you, either in person or by sending you a message in a card, it makes a difference. And I'm here for that.
