Advent Calendar – Winter Artist: Eric Ravilious
This calendar is a celebration of Eric Ravilious and his incredible expanse of works. The 25 Advent windows are largely drawn from Eric’s wood engravings and patterns, and combine themes around home, food, the winter season and celebration. There is a double window for Christmas day.
Each Advent Window has a little descriptive text on the door explaining the title of the image, medium and date of origination.
Bursts of colour and a whole array of inspiring Ravilious patterns and design lie behind the monochrome wintery, mountainous scene on the front of the Calendar!
